Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer

I love documenting real emotion, artistic portraits and fun moments. My style is fresh, yet classic. I am located in Santa Barbara, CA but available worldwide.

Central Coast Family Photographer-

It’s not often I photograph 17 people and 3 dogs by myself…not to mention, seven of them were children.  I communicated with the family via email, and then drove to meet them in Buellton, while they were on vacation.

I took a pad of paper for writing down names and a squeaky toy for the dogs.  Despite one very stubborn little boy, we still ended up with some really great images!

Kristiana and Dave | Engagement Photography | Santa Barbara

Their wedding is fast approaching, and I’m seriously impressed with their ability to take on so many things at one time. I love people that work hard, and have a playful spirit.

I’m so glad they decided to do the engagement session. It was filled with fun, and the images turned out amazing. The above photographs are from the Santa Barbara Courthouse and Santa Barbara’s Leadbetter Beach.

This couple is fun-loving and real…two perfect ingredients for successful photography. I can’t wait for the wedding!!

Santa Barbara County Event Photographer | Kelsey Crews Photo

The above setting is a quaint wedding celebration I photographed at the Coquelicot Winery in Los Olivos, California.

The party favors were adorable…”take me home & plant me!”

Drinks, Music, Bocce Ball, Flatbread, and Love.

The perfect summer evening.

Santa Barbara Family Portrait Photography:

I had the privilege of photographing the nicest family on vacation in Montecito.  It was a very special time for this family because they were celebrating an anniversary, an engagement, and a pregnancy!  I’m so happy I got to help preserve those wonderful memories.

It’s almost that time of year again…tomorrow is summer solstice!
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”  ~J. Lubbock
I’ll have to find some time for this :)

Ibiza Hair Design Working the National Charity League Fashion Show

Last month, I documented Ibiza Hair Design getting the girls ready for the National Charity League Fashion Show.  Ibiza Hair Design is hard at work, doing hair and makeup, in these photographs.  They always do a wonderful job.

The National Charity League is a mother-daughter philanthropy organization.  These girls have volunteered many hours to numerous organizations around town. This event was held at the Fess Parker Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara, California.

Santa Barbara Wedding Photography: Emily + Steven’s Engagement Session: “Santa Barbara Life”

Emily and Steven’s wedding is coming up, and I couldn’t be more excited to be their photographer.  We had so much fun with their engagement session…to me, it embodies a perfect day in the life of Santa Barbara.

The engagement session started at the Fess Parker Winery in Santa Ynez, proceeded to the Santa Barbara Mission, and ended beachside on a tandem bicycle near the Stearns Wharf Pier.  Emily and Steven’s attitudes made any obstacles quickly float away with humor, which then made it obvious how absolutely perfect they are for each other.

I love it when a photo session ends, and I don’t want to leave, because it was too much fun hanging out with my friends.

**There were so many gorgeous photographs, that I could not post them all here.  If you would like to see more images from this session, go to:
