While every day should be a celebration of love, this session gave Kristiana and Dave the chance to hold onto that “wedding experience” a little longer. </p> <p>We celebrated their love, without the pressure. They were able to spend more time with the guests, at their actual wedding, and now they have plenty of that “Wall Art,” they so desired. </p> <p>Oh, and by the way, the fifth image is my new favorite bridal portrait. The bride awoke, starting her day by receiving the most gorgeous earrings from the groom. I could tell how much they meant to Yvonne, because she told about losing similar earrings on a trip with Jake, one time. The loss was a heartbreaking one, so this gift meant even more. She quickly decided against wearing the earrings she had brought.</p> <p>I love how Yvonne exudes romance…I absolutely loved her style. Her dress was from Rosa Clara’s Aire Barcelona Collection. Also, I love her bouquet of dark red roses. Joni Papay, at <a href="http://www.heartsbloom.com/" target="_blank">Hearts Bloom</a>, created the flower arrangements that connected the bold reds and purples perfectly. </p> <p>The wedding cake introduced some pink into the mix, with beautiful pink and red roses playing against each other, between each layer of delicious cake. The cake was designed by <a href="http://santabarbaracakes.com/index.html" target="_blank">Christine Dahl Pastries</a>. The wedding was even more intimate, because it was held at a private residence. <a href="http://chefyosi.com/" target="_blank">Chef Yosi</a> added to that ambiance by preparing foods from all of Yvonne and Jacob’s different travels.   </p> <p>There are many other elements to a wedding like this. First of all, <a href="http://betelling.com/" target="_blank">Belle Events</a> helped with the pre-wedding consultation, and Ashley Monser was the day-of coordinator. Gail Lucas Design created the tree artwork, while Tracy and <a href="http://lazaropress.com/" target="_blank">Lazaro Press</a> designed the wedding invitations. I love it when a photograph breaks the rules, yet is still successful.</p> <p>There are many qualities to a successful photograph. I’m so glad I got to be with her on such an important birthday.  She was in a car accident, and her recovery has been difficult…I think she looks simply marvelous, especially knowing everything she has been through the last couple of years. I was a proud granddaughter, looking at all of her 48 birthday cards. Wonder if I’ll ever get that many birthday cards?!</p> <p>While in Indiana, the weather went from snowstorm to thunderstorm…I forgot how crazy the weather is there!</p> <p>Lastly, I was able to do some of the “everyday activities” with my nephews. Accompanied them to swim practice a few times, and had to document the pool area, because they will be tearing it down soon. The Plymouth High School had their last swim meet in the high school pool while I was there.
